Vapour Shipper containers are designed for the safe transportation of biological samples at cryogenic (-150°C) temperatures or colder. Fabricated from durable, lightweight aluminium, they employ an absorbent liner that contains the liquid nitrogen for "spill-free" shipping.
The hydro-phobic absorbent liner material contains the liquid nitrogen during the shipping of samples at the ultra-cold temperatures. This absorbent material repels moisture and humidity so there should be no need to dry out units between uses.
