There are thousands of registered users of Planer software. Applications are found in most types of hospital, laboratory or research institution.  Software packages exist for temperature and sample management, data logging, sample location, the monitoring and alarming of parameters such as liquid nitrogen levels, particles, oxygen deficiency and power or network failures.
