A lightweight, portable controlled rate freezer; battery powered and ideal for vets – IBF 100

Designed mainly for the vet and zoological market the unit is good for any situation where mobility is needed.

 

 

A 12 volt battery or mains powered chamber is mounted on a standard vapour shipper.

This is a highly accurate portable controlled rate freezer which uses a charged vapour shipper as a 'cold sink'.

It has a unique “dry” system - no liquid nitrogen.  A Primary fan keeps the chamber at a uniform temperature and the Secondary fan draws cold air in from the dry shipper.The technology makes for excellent programmed control and also makes it almost totally silent.

Vapour Shippers employ a hydro-phobic absorbent material that contains the liquid nitrogen for “spill free” shipping of samples at ultra-cold temperatures. The absorbent material repels moisture and humidity so also there should be no need to 'dry out'units between uses.
